If you have any more questions, contact us.

What about bicycles and motorbikes?
You can store them safely in our garage.  Here you can also load up your electrical bicycle.  You can also rent bicycles in Diksmuide (www.fietsencatrysse.be, tel.: 051/50 46 70).  Maps with suggestions for bicycle rides are available for use.

What about tea and coffee?
Upstears on the landing is a sitting area where you find instant coffee, a selection of teas and a water kettle.

What about visiting musea
Ask for our voucher booklet (Westhoek Voordeelpas) which gives a reduction on some entrance fees.

What about restaurants in the neighbourhood ?
Our village has two restaurants but they are only open in the week-end, have a fixed multi-course menu and need to be booked on forehand :
www.delekebek.be
www.termolen.be/restaurant

Closeby, at 3 km from us, there are two more restaurants, one in St. Pieterskapelle (www.restaurantkapelle.be) and one in Zande (www.geeraardsbloempje.be).
In Diksmuide or at the seaside there is plenty of choice.

Another option is to warm something up in our kitchen.  The butcher, Antoon, in the village sells ready made dishes.

Leke and surroundings

Leke is a village that is part of Diksmuide. Diksmuide itself is 8 km away and the sea at Nieuwpoort or Middelkerke is 15 km from us.
We are also close to the French border.  Calais is just an hour's drive on the E40.  Coming from Calais, take exit 4 on the E40 to reach us.
Leke has a documented walk of 8 km through the village and cyclists will see cyclingpoint 25 in the main street.
Along the Yser you'll find more small villages of which Stuivekenskerke is worth a visit.

The bus to Bruges, Ypres or Ostend also passes in our village during the day.
